SENATE BILL 1303 (BROWN): Amends Act 85 of 2004 (the Elderly Immunization Act) to lower the age threshold at which hospitals and other designated facilities are to offer the influenza vaccine. The bill lowers the age to 50 and older. Under the current law, hospitals and other designated facilities offer it to eligible patients aged 65 and older. The bill does not mandate that anyone take the vaccine.  

HOUSE BILL 2378 (ABNEY): Amends Act 91 of 1971 (the State Lottery Law) to exclude from the definition of “income” the principal and any interest accrued from a savings bond when determining eligibility for the PACE and PACENET programs.
